DIRECTOR OF MENTORSHIP
Serving Young Ladies 5-25 Years Young
We are elated that you stopped by to see what the Sensible Women Initiative is all about. We are an organization of caring and concerned women who come from different backgrounds, different career paths, and different parts of the country. Despite these differences, we have a major characteristic in common: We all want to do what we can to help improve the lives of young ladies. We want to help with their overall personal, educational, and social development so they will be better prepared to live sensible and successful lives.
Let’s face it, without extra assistance, some of our young ladies today may “fall through the cracks,” as the saying goes. They may live in conditions where they do not receive the optimum nurture, guidance, schooling, or support. Their world may be filled with neglect, abuse, contradiction, and/or chaos. They may not receive the love, respect, upbringing, and opportunities they are due.
The Sensible Women Initiative stands ready to do what it can to assist in changing the trajectory for the young ladies it serves, providing them with developmental support and giving them a sense of self-worth, a desire to achieve success, and a roadmap to sensible womanhood.
We invite you to peruse our website and learn more about our mission, goals, and objectives as well as the capable and accomplished women who are leading the Sensible Women organization. Also, please take a look at the services and opportunities we are offering at the national and local levels.
Perhaps, you would like to see a Sensible Women Chapter started in your area. For more information about Chapters, please click this link.
We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) federal tax-exempt organization established for charitable and educational purposes. Our funding will be partially generated from sponsorships, membership fees and assessments, individual donations, and grants – the bulk of which will directly benefit the young ladies we serve. If you donate to our organization, a portion of your donation may be claimed when you file your Federal Income Taxes.
